This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend.. John-mark. Howell, MI. Wed Sep 30 2026

Beautiful heavy wood table. Love the look, storage and ease of adding additional sections.. Deanna. San Rafael, CA. Wed Sep 30 2026

Bring flexibility and modern elegance to your dining area with this 3-in-1 extendable pedestal dining table. Designed to adapt to your lifestyle, it effortlessly transforms from a compact 47” round table (seats 4) to a 65” oval (seats 6), and fully extends to 83” long (seats 8) — perfect for intimate dinners, family meals, or hosting guests. Supported by a sturdy pedestal base, this space-saving table offers maximum legroom while maintaining a sleek, balanced look. Crafted from durable MDF and it’s ideal for modern homes that demand both style and versatility.

I really love the look of this table and I'm torn between 3/4 stars. The pedestal design is beautiful, the walnut color is gorgeous, and I love that it converts from round to oval. The extension leaves work really well and are surprisingly substantial and heavy. Assembly was pretty easy too. That said, I’m disappointed in the quality of the materials, especially for the price. The laminate in particular feels pretty cheap. One of the pedestal posts already has laminate peeling away at the seam (it was like this at delivery), and you have to be really careful when putting in some of the screws and bolts because the laminate can easily peel or get damaged around those areas. My table was also missing some of the parts needed to secure the tabletop to the pedestal. I contacted customer service about that, and the manufacturer was very nice and immediately sent out the missing parts, which I really appreciated. I haven’t contacted them about the peeling laminate because I think I can fix it myself with some contact cement. Since the pedestal is such a large piece, I really don’t want to go through the hassle of replacing it if I can avoid it. I may still reach out if I can’t fix it, although I see the table is currently out of stock. Overall, I really do love this table and wish this exact design were available in real wood. It’s not an inexpensive table, and I do think it’s overpriced for the quality of the materials. I would happily pay more for this same design if it were made with real wood and a better-quality finish. It’s a beautiful, functional table, I just wish the quality matched the price.. Anonymous. We love this table. It is sturdy and the look is beautiful. It was very simple to assemble.. Shauna. West Columbia, SC. Mon Oct 05 2026

This extendable dining table features a classic pedestal base that easily adjusts to accommodate family meals and weekend gatherings. Crafted from solid rubberwood, it pairs timeless design with day-to-day functionality in your dining space. The central butterfly leaf mechanism seamlessly expands the surface space to seat up to six people for casual dinners or special occasions. When retracted, the compact profile keeps your room feeling open and uncrowded. It also features a sturdy turned column that provides balanced support across the entire base.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. There is a little crack right in the middle of the leaf which was there upon arrival but a centerpiece can cover this up. All in all I like the look of the table. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

This innovative extendable dining table transforms from a 47-inch round (seats 4) to a 63-inch oval (seats 8) with a self-storing leaf that hides under the top—smooth-glide mechanism ensures frustration-free hosting every time. Built with 12-inch extra-wide legs, 1.57-inch thickened boards, and 1.18-inch tabletop plus reinforced metal frame for maximum stability—supports up to 400 lbs. Premium MDF wood-like tabletop with adjustable leg levelers eliminates wobbles on uneven floors. Space-saving chameleon design: compact for daily meals, expands for parties—versatile as dining table, work-from-home desk, or craft table. Quick assembly with included toolkit; easy maintenance with wipe-clean surface.

For the price, this is a very sturdy and functional table. It feels solid, the extensions are easy to add and remove, and the built-in storage for them is really convenient. The size is worth clarifying. In the smallest round configuration, four people fit perfectly with full place settings, and I think six could sit comfortably. Eight would be a stretch for me, even though the table is advertised for 4–8 people. I was honestly overwhelmed by all the table options and was drawn to this one because of the price. In hindsight, I probably would have spent a little more for real wood. The table isn’t unattractive at all, but you can tell that it isn’t real wood, and that matters more to me than I realized. I’ll probably keep it for a year or two rather than deal with the hassle of returning it. It seems sturdy enough to last much longer than that, and I do think it’s a good table for the money. I just don’t love it. If you’re looking for something affordable, sturdy, expandable, and practical, I think it’s a good buy. If the look and feel of real wood are important to you, I’d spend a little more.. Yvonne. Denver, CO. Thu Oct 08 2026
