Right type of wood for next to my bathtub. Small enough not to trip me, large enough to hold shampoo and other bath products.. Adrienne. Gilbert, AZ. Thu Oct 10 2024

There's something quietly satisfying about a piece of furniture that does exactly what you need it to do—no more, no less. The round teak shower stool is one of those rare finds. Two tiers give you both a place to sit and a spot to keep shower essentials within easy reach: shampoo and soap on the lower shelf, your towel or loofah on the seat when you're done. The slatted design lets water drain instantly, so you're never sitting in a puddle or reaching for a bottle that's swimming in soapy water. And at 18 inches wide, it's spacious enough to sit comfortably yet compact enough to tuck into any corner. Made from 100% solid Indonesian teak with FSC certification, it stands up to moisture better than rubberwood or bamboo—naturally oil-rich and resistant to warping, so it stays solid through years of steamy showers and humid bathrooms. Four rubber feet grip firmly on wet tile or uneven floors, giving you steady support every time you step in. Use it in the shower, beside the tub, by the pool, or on the patio—teak takes on sun, rain, and humidity without complaint. Fully assembled, ethically sourced, and built to last for decades, this is the kind of stool that quietly makes your daily routine safer, easier, and more enjoyable—without asking for anything in return.

Beautiful shower seat! Perfect size to serve a purpose, but small enough of a footprint to not impede on shower space. I did take one star off because the quality of the original (as well as the replacement) seat was poor, with pretty obvious scratches on the surface. Otherwise the perfect addition to our setup!.
