The carved pedestal is an eye catching detail as is the the base of the pedestal with the carved concentric ring details. I ordered the 60 table and my 6 padded chairs (also Wayfair purchases) fit fine. I ordered the natural light color and the wood is many shades of brown and amber. 48" Diameter Farmhouse Round Table is an amazing engineered table creation utilizing hand inlay. This very rare-to-find hand-made yet properly engineered solid wood table was proudly made possible from a lifetime of furniture manufacturing experience. The table base and top center bands are handcrafted using reclaimed solid New Zealand Pine that is specifically hand-selected, sourced, and imported for the final combined effect. The hand finishing is an open grain Farmhouse style wood finishing giving protection but maintaining the very natural effects of the reclaimed and solid woods used. Minor assembly of the top to the base allows easier placement into the home.
