Round Rustic Farmhouse Dining Table

This round dining table is the perfect – and classic – upgrade to your dining room or breakfast nook. It's crafted from kiln-dried solid and engineered wood with a weathered finish that lends a rustic vibe. We love the sturdy pedestal base. Seating up to four, it's complete when paired with the chairs of your choice and some pretty table linens.

Some key pieces in the base have slowly come apart after assembling. Even after using a set torque setting, it came apart and makes a tremendous amount of noise. Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. Table is a little darker than the picture, which is ok. The table arrived with some damage. The package arrived torn and retapped on one end - one of the table legs has a good size chip damage at the bottom and one of the pre-drilled screws on the leg does not tighten up…it only keeps pulling out of wood. I’m super happy with this. I almost didn’t buy it and looked for a long time to buy something else because of the one review that talks about crumbs getting in the crevices and having to vacuum it. I really hate crumbs and all of that but so far, it’s not been a big issue for me whatsoever. I have vacuumed it a couple times but they come right out. The beautifully pieced, solid wood table is made from 100% reclaimed lumber, sanded, and minimally finished with a stony gray wash to highlight the natural grain and distressing. Solid wood will continue to move with temperature and humidity changes, which can result in small cracks and uneven surfaces, adding to its authenticity and character.

The finish is not a dark brown/walnut, it has an orange tint to the wood tone. Can seat 6 people comfortably. (I highly doubt you can fit 8 people.) It's almost been a year and the table is still standing. We use it every night for our family of 5, and it's the go to table when guests arrive. HOWEVER, the table is starting to become squeaky. Any time you apply weight to the tabletop, or try to move the table, it squeaks.... LOUDLY. We've lubricated all the screws and joints, placed felt between the joining wood parts, and tightened the screws. It still makes A LOT of noise. We would LOVE to find a remedy to this problem, because we LOVE the table.
