I’ve wanted to replace our giant, shaggy area rug for years as it seemed impossible to keep it clean of lint, hair and everything else for more than 30 minutes. I wanted a neutral but beautiful piece to replace the large area rug and to make our living room look larger. This rug definitely fit the bill. It’s beautifully woven and so reasonably priced. Also, because it’s got no shag at all, I expect it will be much easier to keep clean (I have a similar rug elsewhere in the apartment). It’s not cushy underfoot like a typical rug, but I actually like the feel of it. Plus, the combination of blues with the natural-colored jute is striking without being distracting. This came so quickly!! Love the rug!! I got the 9 round because of several reviews showing and stating the 8 rug was a minimum of 6 to 12 smaller than advertised for whatever reasons. Though the base is definitely more of a green color as my hopes are coming through, I have navy blue chairs with wood floors, and it pulls colors from all of its surroundings. Blues, yellows grays, different shades of beige. The green is very obvious, but I feel it is very chameleon like for the colors that pop out of the rug on your surroundings.
