This table is very high quality, looks great, and was easy to assemble. The bottom supports are a heavy metal, almost iron, and the top is solid wood. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. We put a runner down the length of the seam in the two tops and you can’t see it and it feels really strong and sturdy and as attractive and easy enough to assemble if you have some Mechanical ability that’s all.. A pretty nice table made of strong and solid wood thoroughly. The type of wood seems to be rubber wood, lighter weight but still show nice grain textures. The table comes stained on medium brown cedar finish on all sides (top and underneaths), which gives it a bit of depth to colour and semi-glaze finish, not overly glossy though. Well-designed for easy assembly, it took me about 90 mins to do it carefully myself, but probably less than 40 mins if you needed to do it quickly or hired someone to help. One of the assembly screws seemed to imperfect so I havent been able to complete the assembly yet.
