I wasn't sure I'd like this table, but I decided to give it a go. I could always return it, I reasoned. But that ended up an unnecessary concern because the table is really, really nice. I did "distress" the gold metal with gold and black Rub 'n Buff. Doing so was ridiculously easy and created the look I wanted. If you zoom in on the attached photos and look at the top of the table, you'll see the metal as it originally appeared. I need to Rub 'n Buff them, too, but I need help moving the glass to do so. The dining set looks lovely as the picture. The dining table we needed three people to put together. It’s heavy also the mechanism for assembly wasn’teasy. The reason for deducting one star because three out of four chairs came out wobbly. I have unassembled and reassembled multiple times. The manufactured piece whether it be the chair legs or the acrylic seat itself wasn’t done right. The bolts were a bit too short too. It couldn’t be helped.
