This table in cherry walnut does not look like the photos, it is much more orange than cherry. It also does NOT come with any game pieces. I am using my pieces from another chess set. This game table is very nice and has a felt top which I'm sure helps hold the game top in place. It is heavy sturdy wood and it was very easy to assemble.
