This rug is extremely soft and helps dampen the echo in a room with hard surface flooring. Another bonus is that the textured backing doesn't slide on the luxury vinyl planks, eliminating the need for a rug pad. Being a white rug, I also appreciate that it is machine washable. It's not very thick but is perfect for a bedroom or basement rug to keep your warm feet protected from the cold floor. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is quality control.
