Round Extendable Pedestal Table

Our Prestow round wooden extending dining table with pedestal leg is all about that chic rustic farmhouse style. This table will comfortably seat 4 when closed and 6 when extended. Clean lines, sturdy design, rounded edges to the table top and sitting on four feet jutting from that central pedestal leg, this table will look fab in any modern home, whether you're going for warm neutrals, that French elegant cottage look or even as part of an eclectic maximalist space. Constructed from solid 100% rubberwood, this extendable dinner table is sturdy, durable and will look great while doing it! The Prestow uses a simple butterfly mechanism - gently pull on either end of the table to 'open' the sliding mechanism and reveal the extension piece concealed under the top. Lift and unfold the extension piece to create the additional length. Why not pair these with any of our matching wooden cross back chairs for a sleek look? Available in either white and gray, cream and oak or oak. This product is real wood and so it will age, which can result in colour variations.

Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. This extendable dining table serves as a functional center point for your dining room or eat-in kitchen. The frame is made from solid wood, featuring a pedestal base that provides balanced support while leaving plenty of legroom for guests. Its stone surface is crafted from a blend of slate and marble, offering a smooth finish that stands up to scratches from daily use. A butterfly leaf mechanism allows you to easily expand the surface to accommodate larger gatherings or family meals. It also features a two-leaf design that seats up to eight people when fully extended.

Very happy with the table. We wanted an extendable table that held the "leaves" within the table and was round when extended. The "racetrack" shape when the "butterfly wing/leaves" are retracted is cooler than a typical rectangle or oval. I also wanted a near white (but with some contrasting details) stone-like top which is very hard to find in an extendable table. The base appears to be slightly lighter brown in color in person than online, but I prefer that. Ignore the chairs in the pictures; we haven't picked out chairs for the new table yet. The extension mechanism (see photo) works very smoothly, and you can do with one hand and little strength. You can have neither extended, only 1 extended, or both extended which works well for our needs (kid comes home from college, etc). There's a tiny bit of uneven-ness in the height at one end of the leaves when extended, but probably only 2 mm (and maybe fixable if we tried.) Delivery was on time with excellent communication via texts and call and with updates for a narrower delivery window provided. They brought it in and assembled it for us. Happy with the purchase. Other places on-line had similar tables but not the exact same one. In particular, the stone top having the grey details seemed harder to find. The base of this table seems very sturdy yet is not wide enough to get in the way of anyone's legs and we have tall teenage boys. We have not had problems with our legs hitting the "leaves" when they are not extended. It looks and feels like something that cost this much or more. Recommend.. Jennifer. Glen Allen, VA. This is a nice kitchen table that easily expands from round to oval. It was a bit of a pain to put together with the extendable leaf, but I was able to do it by myself with no problem. The two sides of the circular top are carbon copies, so it looks a bit weird when the same "imperfection" is repeated in the exact same spot on the other side. Great table! It arrived in perfect condition. The legs are screw-in so they install quickly. I'm going to use my table as a desk as well as for meals, so I wanted a table with legs for extra stability, and I was surprised to find out it's difficult to find a 40-42" table with legs that doesn't look extremely basic. I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy.
