In this office that features dark wood and black concrete floors the plastic chair mat was a garish slap in the face. This rug solved that problem. The rubber backing gripped the floor with no shifting or sliding. The pattern looks perfect in the space as well. I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple.
