Boosblock walnut wood cutting board. The item is made of all-natural American black walnut wood. Walnut sapwood is white and john boos use all of the wood. It's a tone color of the wood and the tone of the wood varies within the tree itself. Variations in the final product are not defects and therefore not covered under our warranty.

So far so good. No complaints yet. Hefty piece of wood. Very poor packaging for a 600 dollar - literally arrived in a box with no inner padding so some of the outer edges are a bit beat up, hence the 4 stars. The pedestal for the table to sit on is attractive and easy enough to put together if you turn it sideways and not straight up and down, the top was easy to assemble, but there seems to be less than perfection in the adjoining pieces of the two table tops and whatever I tried, I could not get the entire length to close completely however, it’s still beautiful. Im so in love with this table! It got here super quickly and assembling it was a piece of cake, the instructions said it would take 15 minutes and they were spot on. I was on the hunt for a round table to go with my counter height chairs, and I was struggling to find one that matched. This table works perfectly with both regular chairs and counter height ones. My top priority was a table top with a rustic look to hide any scratches. Besides a small nick that you can barely see in the picture, the table arrived in flawless condition. I love the quality and look of my new Boos butcher block island. My only complaint is that I wished the drawers were two inches longer so they lined up with the block and therefor provide additional space.
