It comes very well packaged, however there are a lot of pieces and does require some assembly. This is a very large and heavy fixture. The website describes it to be a gold finish, but this is more of a spray paintbrushed brass finish. It looks very cheaply colored and doesn’t go well with the finish of other gold light fixtures. We are just hoping that because we’re hanging it in a room with 20 foot ceilings, you don’t notice the difference in color. I was so excited to get this chandelier. My husband put it up but it needs to be at least another two feet lower. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said they don’t have extra rods to send. As far as the light goes it was made very well (that’s why I gave 5 starts) but unfortunately if you have really high ceilings it won’t work.
