This is a great bowl for my dogs who normally inhale their food when eating out of regular bowls. I prefer to avoid plastic and was delighted to discover that they are made in stainless steel. These are great bowls and slow my furballs down considerably. The rubber rim prevents the bowl from sliding around. My only criticism is that I wish the rubber rim was permanent, vs removable because the are a little tricky to get back on. Overall, I'm very happy with these bowls.. Michele. Monument, CO. This stylish dual ceramic feeding station with natural bamboo frame perfectly blends Japanese kiln glaze aesthetics and practical pet feeding functions for indoor cats and medium-sized dogs. The left bowl built with raised paw-shaped protrusions effectively slows down rapid swallowing, which greatly lowers the risk of bloating, vomiting and gastric torsion commonly seen in fast-eating puppies and kitties. Unlike plastic feeders that absorb oil and develop stubborn odors over time, smooth glazed ceramic is fully stain-resistant and easy to rinse clean without retaining food residue. The integrated wooden stand lifts both bowls to a comfortable feeding height, reducing pets’ neck pressure during long mealtimes and protecting their spinal health, a thoughtful detail most ordinary flat pet bowls lack. The matching empty water bowl offers ample space for fresh drinking water, creating an all-in-one feeding area to tidy up your living space.
