These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert.
