This is great! The ladder is sanded very smooth and soft, no additional sanding required. Ladder is difficult to assemble, as in awkward. You will need someone to hold things and fiddle with it with you. The rail was super easy, and the metal pieces are pretty substantial. My only complaint is that one of the screw heads sheared off, so now I don't have support there, but the hassle of trying to tap it out has prevented me from dealing with it unless I have to. I knew this item was only the rail system and hardware and that it did not come with the actual ladder. My issue is with how the listing description was presented. The size ordering was wildly confusing leaving me unsure what size to order. I ultimately interpreted it wrong and now the system is too short to use in my library.
