I have extremely hungry deer who are not picky unfortunately! The only truly effective measure is to wrap my precious trees and plants! Thank God there are some they dislike! I am not always home to sprinkle powder or spray deer repellent which are both effective. I bought ultrasonic lights were effective at first then the deer ignored them. The skunks did not appreciate my efforts though so I had to stop using! I avoided mesh because obvious reasons but it's the only sure proof method for me. This is the second type of mesh I've used. The first was more nylon type material and was a bit challenging to work with but super flexible. I wanted this type again but was unavailable so I went with a different one. This second mesh is stiffer and more of a wire consistency but cuts easily with scissors. I would say it is more for use with stakes. The major problem I had was wrapping things too tightly so be aware it's so easy to do and then it must be loosened. This gate is amazing! My dog is terrible about going upstairs and getting on the girls beds. We were struggling to find an attractive looking gate that was wide enough for our large stairs (and black!!! Its not brown). The gate is designed so it stays how you put it. Give your garden a new look with this 32-piece 16 fence door. Made of metal, single piece size: 12 inches high, 17 inches wide. You need 2 bars for 1 panel. The bottom arrow of the fixed rod can be inserted into the ground, and the other end is bent to effectively fix the fence. Each panel can be easily connected by interlocking, choosing a location, hammering nails into the ground, and placing fence nails on top.

We ordered this fencing for 2 purposes. We brought it to a river house to block off the only part of the yard that did not have a fence. It was lightweight and quick, easy, and inexpensive to cover that portion of the yard. Wouls be easy to travel with, if needed. We also use it to protect our baby trees and plants. I love that it can be one row high or stacked to be taller. Our basset hound is easily deterred. We just need a visual block and he won't bother with it.
