After assembly great looking desk. My 15 year old son assembled in about 2 hours. He took his time but had no difficulty. The desk was bought for him. There was small scratch/indention on top hutch. Came out box with scratch. I had seen reviews about the drawers not closing and such. The top drawer does have difficulty closing. It goes about halfway in and stops,I am not wanting to push it hard. Hopefully we can get it working.. Crystal. Princeton Wv. Fri Sep 11 2026

I love the little desk but it was fairly difficult to put together.. Cynthia. Nanaimo, BC. Fri May 01 2026

Add a touch of vintage-inspired flair with this secretarys desk. This old world desk is perfect for small spaces with its drop down door and multiple compartments that will help you stay organized. You will be able to get school work done, sort mail or just surf the internet in style. The letter sorter can be removed to added writing/art space or it can be used to slide a keyboard in without damaging it. The two ample drawers have plenty of space to store pencils, paints or any other office accessories. Pull up a chair or stool and start letting the creativity flow.

It’s beautiful and well crafted, but a little top-heavy and wobbly. I also didn’t expect the insert to not be attached! Easy fix though to just mount it to the wall.. Rosie. Maryland. Sun Jul 12 2026

This armoire desk brings a functional workstation into your space with plenty of hidden storage. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame to handle all your daily paperwork and projects. The design features built-in electrical and USB outlets to keep your devices charged, while integrated LED lighting on a dimmer lets you adjust the brightness as you work. A pull-out tray and keyboard tray expand your surface area when needed. Plus, the cabinet doors shut completely to keep your laptop and clutter out of sight when you're done for the day.

Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. That is the only reason for the four stars.. Taji. Nanuet, NY. Fri Jun 19 2026

A retro, nostalgic silhouette is updated for today in the Commerce & Market secretariat secretary. This classic secretary desk has a small design, making it an ideal choice for compact spaces. It's made from a blend of solid and engineered wood, and it rests on ogee-style bracket feet. The finish reveals the wood's grain variation (knots and all) for plenty of French country charm in your living room or bedroom. This desk is crafted with mortise and tenon joinery for a well-made touch. We love that the drawers give you a place to stash papers, pens, and other office supplies, while a drop-down front reveals space for your laptop and additional items. The desk is a practical and particularly space-saving workspace. With its shallow depth, it ensures the best use of space, e.g. in a corridor. The large worktop can be folded down gently thanks to two high-pressure dampers. Behind the door are a practical laptop compartment and a storage shelf. Side pockets, which are also suitable for a PC, and shelves behind the worktop expand the storage space of the desk. The modern high-gloss surface of this media center is easy to clean.

Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Deep drawers hold a ream of paper or drill. Perfect for scrapbooking, project rooms, kitchens, garages, or offices. On wheels with gate, leg extension provides additional space to complete projects.

Easy assembly. Solid piece of furniture. It would be better if the screws were labeled more clearly as some are very similar and one went through the top. There were also a few extra pieces that looked like drawer bottoms but were perhaps packing material.. Elizabeth. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026

Accented by hand painting on the drop-front lid, the secretary features a robust leather writing insert, 3 cubbies for storage, and 3 small drawers behind the drop-front, along with 3 lower drawers with self-closing drawer guides and cherry-colored interiors—pewter-colored pulls.

Feels like an antique one might purchase in Charleston. Very heavy. Had it in a bedroom and it worked as a desk and side table next to a bed. Now, it sits by the door for keys and mail as we enter the house. It works beautifully in that new spot as well.. M. Florida. Sun Aug 23 2026
