I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. These are in the style of a Roman shade, which is a nice concept for covering the glass panel in French Doors. They are magnetic, so easy to position up or drop down. However, instead of some type of metal or sturdy resin material, the “rod” inserts at the back of the shade are cheap plastic tubes which do not fit tightly enough or stay together very well— when inserting to the back of the curtain, the sections come apart. There are several colors to choose from, and the material is lightweight, but blocks even the strong sunlight we have in the desert.
