The rocking chair looks as it is advertised and has a good rocking ability. The back provides head support for someone 5 foot 9 inches and can probably support someone a little taller. The seat is deep which is good for taller users as well; however, not as great for shorter users (including myself at 5 foot 3 inches). At 5 foot, 3 inches, I find that I can either have neck support or lower back support at one time, which is okay and can be fixed with a small throw pillow in order to get support in both areas at one time; at this night I also have a hard time pushing off the floor to rock the chair, which was expected as I experience this with almost every rocking chair. The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). I’m a female over 70 and put them together by myself—a bit more than an hour per piece. The “green” color is more greengrayslate than a true green. Our chair is designed to support a comfortable sitting position and allows for reclining up to 110 degrees. When rocking, the angle ranges between 80 and 130 degrees. It is equipped with fixed wooden bars between the extended legs to enhance stability and features non-slip pads along the entire length of the legs for added safety. I love it. Perfect size. It’s narrower than my old one but deeper which is exactly what I wanted. The pull out footstool isn’t very functional so I just use my regular footstool. I couldn’t imagine trying to use the footstool with a baby in my arms.
