I purchased this sleep sofa for my family room. If I need an extra sleep space for guests, this is what I selected. My number 1 reason for selecting this sofa is because it’s from Stearns Foster. I already own a mattress from them and have been extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort. I purposely sought out Stearns Foster to see if they even offered sleep sofas. I was pleased to see they did and also the mattress is more substantial at 8” thick versus many that are much thinner. The seating is firmer than many standard sofas, but that is to be expected when there is a mattress tucked into the sofa. This is a great oversized, fold out arm chair. It is comfortable to sit in, and the bed (I ordered the upgraded mattress option) is comfortable enough that my 9 year old often chooses it over a standard bedmattress. My one disappointment is the fabric and sewing is low quality. I will eventually have it recovered in a performance fabric and having piping added.
