Electric liftable office writing table, suitable for home and commercial use

I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. And I love that I can keep my phone charger and another charger plugged in inside the top drawer, and the cord pass-through at the back of the desk is nice to help keep all those ugly cords organized and out of the way. Attractiveness 5 stars. Functionality 0 stars. Drawers are sticky, thus the round pulls are worthless for getting the drawers open. File cabinet hardware is set for legal sized folders. There could have been a simple solution, a small slit in the metal hanging devices that would accommodate letter sized folders, but no - very poor design. Also, the file drawers only open about 1/2 way, so files in the back are hidden. And, the drawer guides are extremely poor given the weight of the drawers. Save your money, as this desk was expensive! Keep looking and try other sites rather than Josh and Main! Also, the matching book case finally came with one of the doors broken. This desk is really beautiful and incredibly easy to assemble. It does require 2 people though bc the tabletop is solid wood. Very heavy. I also didn’t realize that the one end of the table does not attach the the lower part. It just rests on top it basically uses its own weight and it stays put. The only issue I had is shipping. Wayfair said it would deliver in 2 days. I then get an email saying the dimensions are too big for FedEx so it had to ship freight and it took 2 weeks instead of the 2 days like their website said.
