I really love these chairs, great low profile without losing back support. Slight bounce to it if you care to buy sturdy enough you shouldnt if you arent trying. I also find these cushions to be more than adequate for sitting long periods of time. So far so good, just that the back doesnt give with time but it doesnt seem like it and were on the thicker side. My only complaint is that the oversized plastic glides on the base are quite bulky and raise the frame off the floor more than expected. Nicely made chairs to replace our midcentury set of chairs that has served us well. These new chairs are the exact dimensions of out old chairs, which is great. Seem very sturdy, like the finish on the wood. Seat size is generous. We built them on the floor, which was a bit unwieldy, probably better to do on a work table. Did not have any issues with misaligned holes, but you really have to make sure you have all the parts lined up properly, definitely need two people to put together. I LOVE this chair. In all fairness, I must state that my husband hates it. He hates the color and he thinks the fabric looks like "cheap laminated junk". He also is a guy, so his home styling opinions don't really matter. This chair was super easy to assemble, the box was light enough that I could carry up the stairs on my own to the bedroom to assemble. Once assembled the first thing I did was curl up and take a little nap. It's very cozy. So far I've taken a nap in it, did my nails in it, blow dried my hair in it, played a few hours of a dumb game on my phone in it, snuggled with my dog while waiting for some company to leave the house... it's an all purpose chair. Its low, but thats what i love about it. I also love that my dog wont steal it because he hasn't laid in it by himself yet, he only sits on it, or uses it as a step to hop onto the bed. Because the seat isn't flat, but curved i think it throws him off. But thats great because I dont have to shew him out of it when I want to enjoy it. This is pretty much a lay-down chair, you can scoot the cushion up and pretend its a normal chair, but it's not ... get comfy and sink in. My dog did get in the chair and nab a bottled diet coke off of my night stand, bring it into the chair and proceed to open it with his teeth, which made the bottle completely empty into the seat of the chair, but i literally used paper towels to wipe it clean, and you would never know it even happened. It's lightweight enough to move around where you want it easily, but still feels very sturdy. Our bedroom is very versatile when it comes to colors, so the chair fits in fine, even though my husband hates the color. Takeaway good simple option for what I was looking for. Quality Metal quality itself is still better than other similar chairs I’ve seen. Finish also looks good. You can see some underlying imperfections in the metal upon close inspection, but who has time for that I ordered this same set over 5 years ago and the screws used to match the color of the chair (they are silver now). Prefer the color match screws, guess i could spray paint to match. Assembly Easy in that you only have to attach four screws to connect base with chair back. But, somewhat frustrating. Screw holes didn’t match up without loosely screwing in other connection points and forcing the metal frame to align. Doable, but not ideal. It’s a nice chair, on the lower side and quite comfortable It took me 25 minutes to assemble the chair, for me it was straight forward and I didnt have any problems, just follow the instructions and be swear that the bigger holes need to show to the outside to connect the arm pieces, it’s already written in the box so I don’t have the issue at all. The linen product is ok, color is nice, the wood is average and one piece while barely to see came scratched out of the box For the price you’ll not be disappointed and it is a nice piece to look at for sure.
