So… I got the more expensive “gold leg” and wood version and I’d say don’t do it. As you can see in photo the gold foot arent metal pieces they are just painted on and the lines aren’t even straight… looks spray-painted, not worth an extra 30 dollars for that- just get plain wood version… the lamp itself I’m happy with it’s pretty sturdy and looks good in our mid century modern style room. Did an office makeover and this lamp with the coat rack was perfect!! It’s super slim which is great for smaller spaces but yet still very sturdy. The design is very nice and went well the aesthetic of the office. I also thought the chain to turn the lamp onoff was a nice vintage touch.
