So I really like this lamp first of all. It is the perfect height for my son. Its gold finish gives it a nice classic look to it. I loved that it has a step on and off peddle no need to reach to turn it on. I was trying to make my son a small little readingdrawing nook area to do what he enjoys the most. I was just not expecting that the top was glass and I accidentally broke one of the pieces so instead of 3 glass rings it has 2 in the picture. meh... First of all, I did not know that it would come unassembled in a box of many parts. It sat around for a couple of weeks, while I decided I was in the right frame of mind to tackle it. The instructions were pitiful. I had to sit and stare and figure it out myself. I put the lamp only on two of the legs so it would be at a height easier to work at sitting down. Once I had four pieces in (one each side), it was easy to finish it up. I planned to put it on my screened in porch, but the footprint is large and is making it difficult to figure out where to put it. all in all? I would not recommend this to anyone that is not focused on putting puzzles together. I added a globe over the light bulb and I it just makes the lamp look so much better so I'm going to give it another star now I'm going to go from three to four but only because of the addition I made not what came in the box.. I’m giving it 4.5/5 stars because I feel like it’s not very sturdy. The material is cheap and flimsy and that’s the only negative thing I have to say about this lamp. I personally love the way it looks, I was very nervous when I bought this lamp because it got delayed so many times. Aesthetically, it’s everything I wanted and it is exactly as advertised with the exception of the height. This lamp with its legs out, fully extended to its absolute max height is 68”, not 60”, which in my opinion, is even better because I wanted this statement piece to stand tall.
