This is a beautiful table I love the look in my home, but there are a couple of things I don’t like. It comes very well packaged and is easy to assemble, but it takes at least two people. The top metal stand are solid heavy but the rod that attaches the round piece to the top is not substantial and I fear it could bend if too much pressure was placed on it. We were very careful when turning the table up right to avoid that issue. And, the drawers don’t line up properly. See pictures of both drawers. I love the look of this mid century modern coffee table, especially the slatted sliding door on the front. I was most looking forward to the lift top, and was pleasantly surprised by how solid (heavy!) it is. The veneer is actually a really good quality with a real wood grain feel. And the base and legs are actually metal and very solid. However, building it was a challenge since many of the parts were mislabeled and the photos of hole locations didn’t match up.
