I was very pleasantly surprised by this chair -- I've been searching for a comfortable desk chair made of something less ugly than mesh, and while I would've loved real leather, this chair was much more budget-friendly and it's really quite nice. It's larger (in a good way!) and more comfy than I expected, it took less than 10 minutes to assemble, and it doesn't smell like plastic or chemicals. The wheels move smoothly on a hardwood floor and don't leave marks. The back is supportive but also well-cushioned. I do a lot of focused desk work (sometimes don't get up for 3-4 hours) and this chair makes it easier. I'll be keeping this until my business is successful enough to upgrade to a chair made of fancy Italian leather (this is not happening any time soon, which means the chair will be with me for a long time).. First off I will admit Im petrified of anything I have to put together myself. But this assembly truly was easy. So easy I wouldve regretted if I paid someone to set it up. Peoduct was delivered within a week in a box that was a little beat up although everything was so well packaged inside there was no damage to the product at all. This is a great looking chair. I wouldnt say it looks like real leather but that's because it is not. Seems to be built well, it swivels nicely, reclines a little but not much. It is comfortable but not as comfortable as I had hoped although its brand new and I noticed every time I sit in it it feels a little better. I dont feel its as supportive as I had hoped. My old chair actually feels better. This one looks great in my house much better than my old chair, but Im keeping both till I get used to this one. In all honesty if I sat in it before I bought it, I probably wouldnt have bought it. This is a great office chair. Mechanically, this is a much higher quality than most that I have used. It was easy to assemble and works great in the space we needed it for. These chairs are very high quality and sturdy. It’s difficult to find office chairs that the seat height is at least 20” and these fit the bill. There is a slight degree difference in the pitch of the seat front and slightly lower at the rear which is perfect for comfort, posture and keeping the seat at my preferred height. The only complaint are the directions for putting together the round base - there is a correct side - make sure you insert the hydraulic mechanism first to figure out the top and bottom before installing the wood covers.
