So I really like this lamp first of all. It is the perfect height for my son. Its gold finish gives it a nice classic look to it. I loved that it has a step on and off peddle no need to reach to turn it on. I was trying to make my son a small little readingdrawing nook area to do what he enjoys the most. I was just not expecting that the top was glass and I accidentally broke one of the pieces so instead of 3 glass rings it has 2 in the picture. Perfect. Not sure why you want it written twice. I assembled it, but needed a couple of screw-in pieces tightened by her. The diagram was very simple and easy to follow. It was heavy until I laid it on the floor to finish putting it together. I think anyone could follow it. I am an 87-year-old woman. Fit and healthy, so I think an average person could do it.
