This 3 Drawer Mid-Century Modern Dresser is a nice eclectic addition to my guest room. The dresser is solid wood, and comes partly assembled (the drawer slides are already in place on the drawer and side pieces), making assembly go that much quicker. It did take my husband and myself about an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble this. We did use an electric drill/screwdriver for some of the steps, but you can assemble just using a screwdriver and a bit of muscle. One of the legs for the dresser did have a big scratch in it, but we just faced that part towards the inside/back so it does not show. The drawers go in a bit hard at first, but after they are in the slides and are opened/closed a few times, they go in smoothly. Overall, this is a solid piece of furniture and should hold up well for a long time. I am contemplating purchasing two more of these to use as bedside tables in my primary bedroom.. Kimi. There are a LOT of parts in this accent chest. It took nearly three hours to assemble. Having said that, the instructions were straightforward and it came together well. This is a really nice piece of solid furniture! It took absolutely forever to assemble and came in a million pieces. I do think if you used an electric screwdriver it would greatly reduce assembly time but the worry is that it might split the wood. It is very heavy and definitely requires two people to move the delivery box. The instructions were incredibly clear and complete making it very easy to follow. Only one drawer doesn't run smoothly so I'll have to redo that and see if it can be fixed - so I gave it 4 stars because of that. All of the tools you need to assemble are included in the box so it really is complete for anyone. Does seem to have a plastic wax coating on it so not sure it's actually wood or just a composite.. I knocked off a star cause the side cabinet that opens is very stiff and difficult to open so if you need to open and close it regularly, this could get annoying.
