I was afraid to buy this since it had no reviews, but I loved the way it looked in the photos and it was exactly what I was looking for so I decided to take the risk. Now leaving a review in case anyone has the same concerns as me. I can happily say that the chair and ottoman are as pictured and were exceptionally easy to put together (literally just need to attach the legs for both items). The yellow is perhaps slightly warmer and a tiny bit darker than how the photo looked on my screen. Its hard to tell the difference even in the photos Ive included, but for reference the photo with the throw and cushion are in daytime and the one without them is at night. The chair is firm but comfortable, though I feel the back needs some time to soften - the center ridge is slightly firmer than I feel it should be, but I think this will settle with use. We really like these chairs! We were skeptical, as most things we get from this site seem poor quality. But I like these chairs!! My only disappointment is that the pink color is so faint. I would prefer a richer, more saturated color. I add pillows to take care of that. The thing I like most about these is that I can sit up straight instead of being forced to lean back which puts my back into a spasm. We have expensive chairs from Dania that kill my back and I can barely walk when I get up from sitting in them. These pink chairs feel fantastic. The Chihuahua is in 7th heaven because we bought two of these- we now have four chairs and four footstools which means the dog has his choice of chairs now, too, and doesn’t always want to sit in my lap when I watch TV. I LOVE this chair. In all fairness, I must state that my husband hates it. He hates the color and he thinks the fabric looks like "cheap laminated junk". He also is a guy, so his home styling opinions don't really matter. This chair was super easy to assemble, the box was light enough that I could carry up the stairs on my own to the bedroom to assemble. Once assembled the first thing I did was curl up and take a little nap. It's very cozy. So far I've taken a nap in it, did my nails in it, blow dried my hair in it, played a few hours of a dumb game on my phone in it, snuggled with my dog while waiting for some company to leave the house... it's an all purpose chair. Its low, but thats what i love about it. I also love that my dog wont steal it because he hasn't laid in it by himself yet, he only sits on it, or uses it as a step to hop onto the bed. Because the seat isn't flat, but curved i think it throws him off. But thats great because I dont have to shew him out of it when I want to enjoy it. This is pretty much a lay-down chair, you can scoot the cushion up and pretend its a normal chair, but it's not ... get comfy and sink in. My dog did get in the chair and nab a bottled diet coke off of my night stand, bring it into the chair and proceed to open it with his teeth, which made the bottle completely empty into the seat of the chair, but i literally used paper towels to wipe it clean, and you would never know it even happened. It's lightweight enough to move around where you want it easily, but still feels very sturdy. Our bedroom is very versatile when it comes to colors, so the chair fits in fine, even though my husband hates the color. It was in back order till June but arrived earlier than expected in April. It’s more of a grey blue hue in person but that’s alright. It still blends in with my charcoal gray furniture. It sits semi low as you can see from the window but it’s very sturdy, comfortable and fits a petite space nicely. Came already assembled with the exception of the foot rest which had screw on legs. Very nice chairs. They are very firm, which I normally do not like, but are so ergomically correct that they are actually quite comfortable. Very solid and sturdy, and the only thing that kept me from giving five stars is that the holes for the recessed bolts did not come with plugs or dowels, leaving a very unfinished look.
