I LOVE this chair. In all fairness, I must state that my husband hates it. He hates the color and he thinks the fabric looks like "cheap laminated junk". He also is a guy, so his home styling opinions don't really matter. This chair was super easy to assemble, the box was light enough that I could carry up the stairs on my own to the bedroom to assemble. Once assembled the first thing I did was curl up and take a little nap. It's very cozy. So far I've taken a nap in it, did my nails in it, blow dried my hair in it, played a few hours of a dumb game on my phone in it, snuggled with my dog while waiting for some company to leave the house... it's an all purpose chair. Its low, but thats what i love about it. I also love that my dog wont steal it because he hasn't laid in it by himself yet, he only sits on it, or uses it as a step to hop onto the bed. Because the seat isn't flat, but curved i think it throws him off. But thats great because I dont have to shew him out of it when I want to enjoy it. This is pretty much a lay-down chair, you can scoot the cushion up and pretend its a normal chair, but it's not ... get comfy and sink in. My dog did get in the chair and nab a bottled diet coke off of my night stand, bring it into the chair and proceed to open it with his teeth, which made the bottle completely empty into the seat of the chair, but i literally used paper towels to wipe it clean, and you would never know it even happened. It's lightweight enough to move around where you want it easily, but still feels very sturdy. Our bedroom is very versatile when it comes to colors, so the chair fits in fine, even though my husband hates the color. The seat does look like it’s 6” thick, but important to note that its hollow underneath - the actual padding on the seat is no more than 1.5 to 2 inches. It went together fairly easily by my husband who is quite handy - I would not have been able to do it myself as there were MANY parts to deal with. It’s a nice chair, on the lower side and quite comfortable It took me 25 minutes to assemble the chair, for me it was straight forward and I didnt have any problems, just follow the instructions and be swear that the bigger holes need to show to the outside to connect the arm pieces, it’s already written in the box so I don’t have the issue at all. The linen product is ok, color is nice, the wood is average and one piece while barely to see came scratched out of the box For the price you’ll not be disappointed and it is a nice piece to look at for sure. We ordered a couple of these chairs to fill some space in our living room. They look great and assembled easily. We weren't quite sure what color they would be. The description claims they are blue velvet. But in my living room they look teal, which for us works out fine. However, I noticed in the photo I took the chair looks more blue. I think this is because the fabric has a sheen to it and the light from the camera flash bounces off of it. We are hoping the cats will not be interested in scratching the velvet fabric!. Linda.
