I want to love this so so much! It was easy to install and other than being tedious work to hang the crystals they were easy. It looks absolutely gorgeous, however as you can see, I did not expect that the room would be so dark above the light, I also did not realize the rest of the room would have the broken light pattern on it. I have never owned a chandelier so I was unaware of these effects. For those reasons I dropped a star off. But the fan is so awesome on this light and the light it gives to the floor is excellent as well. I also do not like that the remote for this light is black. I believe it completely throws off the aesthetics of the room. I will be hiding the remote behind something because no way do I want a black remote on the wall. I wish it was white (. Laura. I was worried this might look too “cheap”, but it’s actually pretty nice looking and the retractable blades are pretty darn cool. My only complaint (and the reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5) is that the three variations of “white light” are so very similar. I love bright lights, but not all the time and the “soft white” of this fixture still looks like the old fashioned LED lights folks didn’t love because they were so industrial feeling. Gorgeous fan, but thought the blades were too small to really move air around our bedroom. To be fair, we hadnt installed it to really test it out. We have.a similar one in a smaller bedroom and it only pushes the air directly under as opposed to the more traditional ceiling fan. Our upstairs gets warm, even with central air.
