Retractable Awning 72 x 72 Tan

Outsmart the weather with patio awnings. This awning delivers the perfect amount of shade for your patio or balcony and efficiently protects your home or business from sun damage or light rain. Built with a sleek black frame, this modern design shows less dirt and debris than more common white frames. The fabric offers up to 119 square feet of coverage depending on the chosen size and is made from 100% polyester to best protect you from the elements and keep the inside of your home cool on hot days. Included is a simple hand crank that opens or closes the awning within a minute, and requires no electricity. Assembly is required. One-Year Warranty included.

I absolutely love this awning. It’s exactly what I was looking for. It is very well priced and looks very pretty. Sorry for the delayed review, but I did need to hire someone to install it. The assembly and install were a little challenging, even for a master electrician. It wasn't the level of difficulty but rather very vague instructions and more than one incorrect picture. However, we prevailed. Warning: DO NOT remove the tape and zip ties from the arms of the hardware. They are spring-loaded and should not be released until the awning has been hung. Otherwise, it'll be like trying to put a cat in a bucket of water. (we were smart about this) To assemble, have a helper on standby to pull the awning through the roller channel while someone else pushes it. A kid can help with this part. One person can assemble the main hardware. To install the brackets to the home, one person is fine as long as they have the correct drill bits and measure correctly. The brackets are great quality; however, they may not sit flush and level to the wall. We placed 2x2 blocks of wood behind each bracket to fill the empty space and make the install strong and level. To install the awning, you'll want a strong teen or adult to assist. They will need to hold one side of the awning and the hardware while standing on a ladder, as both people insert the hardware into the brackets on the structure.. Anonymous. Fri Aug 28 2026

Not as wide as the original, but, I was able to make it work. Please list the actual dimensions of this product rather than stating that it fits a 12 foot retractable. Take note of the space at the ends of the roller.. A.. Clearwater, FL. Thu Jun 11 2026

This awning is the first choice of most homeowners who choose a manually-operated model because for just low cost it extends out from your house giving you up more square feet of coverage and protection This model requires no electricity.

Pros Great product for the price! It has held up very well in the CA sun over the past few months. Cons It stains easily and it was so terrible to put together (terrible instructions, lots of pieces). If I had to do it again, would have three people to hang it.. Jeannie. Los Angeles, CA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Our patio awning requires no electricity you can hang this awning without having to worry about cords, outlets, or batteries. The hand crank opens the awning smoothly and quietly. You can mount this awning on walls or above doors. The pre-drilled holes and included mounting hardware make installation to concrete surfaces a snap.

I like the fit and it matches the sofa. Darryl. US. Wed Feb 05 2025

Operate it easily with the included remote control or the smooth manual crank backup. Perfect for balconies, patios, or cafes, it comes with all necessary hardware, an easy-to-follow installation video, and requires a mounting clearance.

Hard to build. Took several hours to build this. The frame is grey which was disappointing because I thought it was black. Once it was up, it looks nice and functions well.. Kelli. AB. Thu Aug 06 2026

Nice awning. Too heavy for 2 seniors to hang. Had to hire a handyman. It really is too small for the area. It needed to be bigger (longer). Too cumbersome to return. Guess we need to buy another to go along side it.. Rosa. Thu Jul 23 2026

This a great awning at this price point, even my electrician son was impressed as he he was expecting troubles. To be fair, it is not easy to install. It took three adult men on ladders to put it up and a great deal of finagling before that. Also, the motor came preassembled so we had no choice about which side it was on which meant extension cords.. Karla. Stafford Springs, CT. Sat Jun 27 2026

I like it. Works and looks great. My only issue was the expansion bolts to mount it are for solid brick walls, not 2 inch stucco on a building. Ill have to go to the hardware store to get different materials to mount correctly.. David. Long Beach, CA. Mon Jun 10 2024
