Like this fan very much in our living room. It has an interesting wall mount switch for controlling the fan and 2 different brightness levels for the light. One thing to know if your using it in a vaulted ceiling you will probably want to get an extension for the download. Easily purchased at home hardware store.. Terri. Fayetteville, GA. A picture of modern design, the functional minimalism of this ceiling fan with remote is a product of advanced design. Five long and graceful blades of carved wood move air with remarkable efficiency. A remote with batteries is included and controls full range dimming and fan speed capabilities. This ceiling fan also has a reversible motor that can be accessed via a manual switch.

The fan is beautiful and perfect for a large space as it is quiet and moves a lot of air. The only down side is that if we turn it off using the lightswitch, it automatically reverts to spinning backwards which needs to be changed by opening the remote control battery where the direction button is. While it may be mounted with or without the remote, there is no way to change the fan speed or direction without it (if you don't have a light kit with it).. Rikky. CA. Thu Jun 13 2019
