Our scaled museum replica brings the legendary flagship of the Titanic to life. Incredibly detailed in fully hand-painted wood, it features lifeboats, rope rigging, metal railings, lookouts, and even a metal anchor. Measuring almost a yard long, our collectible requires five days of exacting craftsmanship. With its wooden stand and metal nameplate, it is an amazing gift to anyone mesmerized by the art and legend of nautical vessels.

The Titanic was and is great. That is the only reason in the world why I ever would consider doing more business with wayfair. But that is the only experience that I have with Wayfair that was not a clown show. Show. Carey. Youngstown, FL. Tue Jul 07 2026

The phone booth is amazing. Definitely a statement piece! The paint is a darker red than pictured, but it still works for us. Definitely recommend the white glove delivery since it's a heavy piece and comes with a LOT of protective packaging.. Keli. Houston, TX. Tue Aug 22 2017

Though the history of the Roman empire is awash with the feats of emperors, no tales told were nearly as cruel as those of the formidable emperor Caracalla. Though history hasn't been kind to the tyrannical monarchy of his reign, this bust statue of the ruler the Romans feared is important for the history and culture it represents. Caracalla fancied himself a military genius, the reincarnation of Alexander the Great. Their impressively, life-size sculptural bust is cast in quality designer resin.

Very good quality, pretty hefty but arrived broken. Dylan. New York. Thu Feb 20 2025

This Rococo-style wall niche echoes centuries of tradition! Cast directly from an English antique, this work of decorative art boasts fine detail, from its acanthus leaf finial to its classic columns. Crafted in quality designer resin, it is finished to be virtually indistinguishable from dark walnut.

Just gorgeous! It is rich and very much appears to be made of wood, despite it being some type of resin or other composite material (I believe). It is absolutely stunning and I plan to purchase another in the near future.. Melanie Vaughn. Missouri. Thu Aug 27 2026

H.M.S. Sovereign of the Seas, launched in 1637, was the most powerfully armed ship in the world in its day. It was originally going to have 90 guns, but King Charles I personally insisted that a ''great ship'' be built for the English Royal Navy, so it went to sea with 102 bronze guns. The vessel was the most extravagantly decorated warship in the Royal Navy, completely adorned from stern to bow with gilded carvings. The ship was later renamed Sovereign and then Royal Sovereign. It was destroyed by fire in 1697 in Chatham.

Verdaderamente hermoso recomendado muy buen trabajo. Daniel Octavio. Thornton, CO. Thu Mar 27 2025

The Royal Louis was a 3-deck vessel with 120 guns. Her captain was a Squadron Admiral. She was one of the most powerful first-rank vessels belonging to the French Royal Navy at that time. Our model represents the Royal Louis according to the plans of 1779, when she was Admiral-Ship of the Blue and White Squadron, being part of the American Squadron, also called Earl d'Estaings.

Our grand-scale bust is sculpted in painstaking detail from the museum original, which was discovered on April 20, 1863, in the villa of Liva at Prima Porta, near Rome. As the commander-in-chief of the Roman army, Caesar Augustus is shown proclaiming triumph to his troops. From his distinctively handsome features to the detailed, bas-relief breastplate armor, this gallery statue has fascinated generations. An investment in classic European sculpture, this impressive life-sized sculptural.

Built primarily with dense southern live oak, its hull was 21 inches thick in an era when 18 inches was common. Paul revere forged the copper spikes and bolts that held the planks in place. The 204-foot-long ship was first put to sea in 1798 and its most famous era of naval warfare was the War of 1812 against Britain when it captured numerous merchant ships and defeated five warships, including the H.M.S. Guerriere. It was during the ferocious battle with the Guerriere that British seamen, astonished at how their cannonballs were bouncing off the constitution's hull, cried out, ''Sir, her sides are made from iron'' hence, the nickname, ''old ironsides.'' the constitution today is a national landmark and is docked in boston.

Impressive model! I haven't even removed it from the packaging as yet. I am a woodworker and planning to construct a case for it as I did for the Independence, a model I finished this year. Only question I have is about the masts when first received. Upon opening the top of the shipping box I remember all the sails were 90 degrees to the hull. Now after 2 days, all the sails are 30 degrees to the left. I included a shot looking down at the model. I was interested to know if others have noticed this or am I mistaken? Also found this after unpacking (see picture) of rear mast warped at top. The other noticeable item was the size of the rigging blocks, obviously too large but can be overlooked as they seem to accentuate the model when viewed as a whole. . Greg. Gilroy, CA. In its day, there was no yacht like the Bluenose II, a fishing schooner that combined efficiency, beauty and speed. It was built in Nova Scotia in 1921 to fish the rough waters off the coast of Newfoundland. It would stay out on the sea until its holds were full of cod, using salt to preserve its catch. But the Bluenose left its mark in history as a racing ship. For 17 straight years it won the International Fisherman's Trophy, awarded to the winner of races among real fishing schooners that worked the Grand Banks. The races created a heated rivalry between the greatest deep-sea schooners from Newfoundland in Canada and those from Gloucester, Mass. With Capt. Angus Walters at its helm, the Bluenose II prevailed year after a year and it became an enduring symbol of the maritime spirit. The Bluenose II was lost off Haiti in 1946.

The ship looks fantastic in my office. Saying that, some technical assembling was required and minor repairs, which took approximately 6 hours. There was a sense of pride and accomplishment working through the assembly and repairs. I would definitely recommend this model if one has the patience and ability to read directions.. William. presents the Hermes Sandal sculpture, a detailed resin piece that captures the dynamic and swift movement of Hermes fastening his sandal. This 10.0-inch tall statue features intricate details that highlight the athletic form and fluidity of Hermes, making it a striking addition to any classical decor. Crafted from high-quality resin, it ensures durability and a lifelike appearance. Ideal for collectors of Greek mythology and classical art, this sculpture is both decorative and meaningful. A perfect gift for those who appreciate mythology and fine craftsmanship, it combines artistic beauty with mythical significance.

As an inveterate lover of ancient Greek, Hellenistic, Etruscan, and Roman sculpture and classical art, the purchase of the Camie statue depicting the Greek god Hermes (Mercury) was a natural choice. I saw this exemplary stunning Roman copy of the Hellenistic original by the 4th-century BC master Lysippus at the Musée du Louvre in Paris. It's a beautifully rendered, small-scale copy of that masterpiece. I couldn't be more thrilled about my decision to purchase it for my space. Note: From a historical standpoint, three of the most visually compelling aspects of Hellenistic sculpture are its rigid adherence to the formulaic principles of symmetrical balance; mathematically precise ratios of proportion—and aesthetic corporeal harmony. The same can be said about the Classical period, which began in the mid-5th century BC, and this design trifecta continued into the Hellenistic period (323–30 BC) following Alexander the Great's death in June 323 BC, with one divergent exception—that being the old concept of the immobile constraint, stylized idealization of the human form—which readily defines classical sculpture, versus that of vigorous natural realism that became the new idea that would single-handedly transform Hellenistic sculpture as witnessed by this brilliantly masterful example.. A very beautiful marine sculpture standing. Featuring in a natural form 3 dolphins swimming. A timeless creation in lost wax cast bronze, with the most beautiful of gallery quality finishing. The patina chosen for this timeless creation is a mix of hand finishing with silver and polychrome techniques also referred to as enameling over bronze. The sculpture sits on the marble base.

This sculpture is amazing. I was going to place it downstairs, but like it so much it is on my great room coffee table. Have received many compliments on it.. Mary. US. Mon Aug 18 2025

H.M.S. The victory was the ultimate British fighting vessel - 227 feet long with 104 guns and 850 men when at full capacity. It was launched in 1765 and is most famous as adm. Horatio nelson's flagship at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Nelson was shot and killed during the battle. H.M.S. Victory is the oldest naval ship still in commission. It has been restored and rests in dry docks at Portsmouth, England. The ship in Portsmouth is the sixth ship with the name Victory in the royal navy. There has been great interest in the fifth victory ship, which was built 15 years earlier and whose wreckage was found recently by odyssey marine exploration.

USS Constellation was a 38-gun frigate and the first ship to be commissioned in the United States Navy. She was distinguished as the first U.S. Navy vessel to put to sea and the first U.S. Navy vessel to engage, defeat, and capture an enemy vessel. Constellation was one of the six original frigates authorized for construction by the Naval Act of 1794. The original USS Constellation was constructed in 1797 by Joshua Humphreys and broken up for scrap in 1853 in Gosport Navy Yard in Norfolk, Virginia at the same time as the keel was laid for what would later be known as the second USS Constellation. In the later half of the 20th Century, the 1854 version was thought to be the 1797 version as the city of Baltimore promoted the ship as the original and some naval historians believed the Baltimore ship to be the rebuilt original. The paper ''Fouled Anchors: The Constellation Question Answered'', by Dana M. Wegner, et al., published by the Navys David Taylor Research Center in 1991, concludes that they are different ships. The conclusive proof came during the renovation of the ship in Baltimore concluding in 1999 in which all evidence pointed to the construction of an entirely new sloop-of-war from the 1850s era and not the 1797 ship.

It’s awesome! I’m really impressed by detail and workmanship.. Nick. Flint, MI. Sat Feb 22 2020

The Queen Mary is considered by many as the pinnacle of British passenger shipbuilding. The canard Line's Star Flagship, Queen Mary, was laid down for construction as the Great depression gripped Europe, rendering circumstances unfeasible for ship building. Thus, the construction was held up from 1931 to 1934. The thousand foot passenger ship was built to trump its French rival to the crown of luxury, the Normandie. One of the most appealing characteristics of the Queen Mary was her great speed. Coupled with great luxury and comfort, this factor earned amazing profits for her owners until the outbreak of the Second World War, which found her in a New York Harbor. After being idle for half a year, the Queen Mary re-entered service as a troopship, traveling unescorted from New York to Sydney. Ferrying troops between the Suez and Australia until the United States decided to take part in the fight, the Germans reportedly offered a quarter million reward for sinking this ridiculously fast passenger boat which their submarines could not keep up with. With its speed and finesse along the waters, the Queen Mary bested any warship afloat and adopted the nickname, ''the Gray Ghost.'' The third largest passenger ship ever to set sail in the North Atlantic seaway, and the largest to survive, the Queen Mary is one of the recent reminders of the artistic and industrial genius that dominated the North Atlantic Ocean for over a century. Tonnage: 81,237 GT (gross tonnage) Displacement: 81,961 tonnes length: 1,019.4 ft (310.7 m) or 965 ft (294.1 m) B.P. beam: 118.5 ft (36.1 m) height: 181 ft (55.2 m) draft: 39 ft (11.9 m) propulsion: 160,000 shaft hp parsons double reduction steam turbines max. 200,000 shaft hp steam turbines, 4 shafts speed: approximately 28.5 km (52.8 km/h/32.8 mph) service speed. The name of the Cutty Sark tall ship comes from the short shirt worn by the flee-footed witch in the Robert Burns Poem, Tam o'Shanter. Designed by Hercules Linton in Dumbarton, Scotland, the Cutty Sark was launched in 1869. The Cutty Sark was initially designed and meant for trading tea with China. Crafted to race across the globe to sack immense profits before other European traders, the Cutty Sark was built for speed. In the memorable race between the Cutty Sark and Thermopylae in 1872, the Cutty Sark lost her rudder after passing through the Sunda Straight and arrived in London a week after their competitor. What makes the Cutty Sark the hero of this race was that she continued the race with a makeshift rudder instead of putting into port for repairs, and in spite of that only lost by a week. Inevitably, the clipper ships lost out to the more powerful steam boats, which were more reliable, and thus returned goods more consistently. The Cutty Sark won the reputation as the fastest ship in her size when she ran 360 nautical miles in 24 hours during a run for Australian Wool trade. The Cutty Sark is the world's sole surviving extreme slipper, with the majority of her hull fabric surviving from her original construction in the 1860s. The Cutty Sark is preserved as a museum ship in Greenwich, which is in south-east London.

This is a stunning replica of the Drakkar Viking boat, a classic boat used by the Vikings between the 7th and 10th centuries. Drake or Dreki is the name of the Scandinavian boats (the drake, usually the ornament of the bow), known between 700 and 1,000. Made of oak (boards piled up like slate ). It is a kind of whale fishing boat and has a very solid shape with a length of approx. 25m and a width of 5m. It was used with sails and oars by the frightful Vikings.

I used this ship to send some of my husbands ashes “out to sea” and set it on fire on the lake we live on as he always said he wanted to go out like a Viking. It worked well. His service was wonderful.. Deborah. Tallahassee, FL. Mon Jan 15 2024
