I have yet to install as I have not yet purchased the rain barrel to go with it. Most rain barrels on the market don't fully utilize the water they hold because the spigot is located about halfway up the barrel. This is to allow buckets to be filled but leaves about a quarter of the water behind. And this remaining water is standing which can be hazardous. Barrels with optimally located spigots don't allow room for buckets and leave only hoses as the draining option. This 50-stand solves these issues by lifting and supporting the 50 rain barrels off the ground. With increased elevation, the barrel can drain at a much faster rate. Any filling device can be easily placed below the spigot without awkward tilting or maneuvering.

I ordered 2 sizes of rain barrels and stands to match from same company. They changed shade of color somewhere along the line so not everything matched. Manufacturer told me to keep stands or donate which was nice since then I didnt have to package up and send back. Maybe they shouldve changed color name to new color so this wont happen to others. The diverter system not only fills the barrel from the downspout directly but also avoids overflowing the barrel when properly installed by directing excess water back to the downspout. Installation is quick and easy. On the downspout, simply drill a hole with the included hole saw, then insert the rubber rain catch. The rain catch design allows the collection of water as it runs down the walls of your downspout while it filters out any leafy debris.
