So far so good! We tried a similar chair that had a lot of padding. That chair became very uncomfortable after an hour, perhaps due to the amount of padding used. This is a wonderful couch replacement cushion. It comes with a zipper cover in grey as well. It is well constructed and comfortably firm. However, it did not fit my couch. Before I could think about returning it, my dog claimed it as her own. It is probably the fanciest dog bed she has ever had. Although I am sorry it did not fit my sofa, I am happy it is making my dog happy. She loves it. If it will fit your couch or chair, I highly recommend it. It is a quality cushion.. Marykay.
