These lights are as described, tall and made of metal. The only ones I have had are the solar plastic ones that didn’t last long at all. This is our second purchase of these lights. We have them hanging all along our fence and they look beautiful. We bounce our first set five years ago. They have weathered the hot Texas sun and our winters with some freezing temperatures. Most of the first set still work perfectly. These were to replace a few that were broken over time.
