These pendants are simple but classy, which is what we wanted. It took us about 30 minutes to remove our old pendants and put these up. We ordered the matte black and they look amazing hanging at 30" above the island countertop. I like the clear glass shade so it can sort of showcase the bulbs. This is a very cool flush light. It is beautiful in the entry of my beach house. Be aware, it was a bear to install. My husband had to drill the screw holes to a larger size and replace the screws.
