Pretty substantial and a bit heavy but not to point you can’t move it around. I think it’s because it’s reinforced and can hold up to a 330 lbs person. The color is beautiful and the detachable cushion looks like it can easily be washed. It glides easily back and forwards. There are two locking ring mechanisms just under each hand rest that don’t seem to work well. Maybe I received a defective one however , it doesn’t make a difference. I think I like that it doesn’t lock, I like to jump up when I’m ready and if locked in recline position, it would probably annoy me! The headrest cushion is on a heavy duty thick elastic band and easily moves up and down to the position that suits you and it stays in place once positioned. Overall a great deck or beach chair. Third year with these, still functional, still comfortable. What other reviewers said about fading is correct. I got the bright blue and black ones, and they faded right away to a light blue and grey color, except on the back and under the pillow. In summer they are set up in a place where they get direct sun about 4 hours/day. I figure they'll be less likely to be stolen now, and they are still very comfortable to sit in. Opened only an hour ago but so far happy (other then the cons listed below) that I went with this chair. Pros It is sturdy, the chair seems to have been made with high quality materials and it’s incredibly comfortable! I have already made up my mind to bring it inside when not in use because it will work as an extra comfortable place to sit. My sons on the bigger side and has back issues- this will be heavenly to him! The base is thick and sturdy. The cording used also seems like nice quality. Cons The cushion (which I paid a higher price for) is not high quality at all. It is poorly made, stitching visible- I’m sure it won’t last especially if washed. The other Con (also what I paid a higher price for was the side table- honestly this doesn’t even sit level and is completely pointless. This goes together pretty easily and feels sturdy. The yellow color seems true to what it shows online as well.
