Terrific 100 percent cotton mattress protector! It fit like a glove and is padded with the softest cotton. It is difficult to find a mattress protector that is not made of some type of plastic. We liked the mattress protector overall. I ordered them two one for my master queen bed and the other for my guest room bed. I was on the fence about this protector before receiving. I have always used a mattress pad, but with my new mattress I was sleeping consistently hotter than usual. Well I called where I purchased my mattress and they explained most pads are made with fiber fill and that retains heat not allowing the mattress to breath. So I researched my mattress brand and got same answers. I found the Tempur Breeze protector to be the most mentioned. Yes the price did scare me I had just spent quite a bit on the mattress and now another 300. Well I did it and do not regret one minute. I sleep cooler and more comfortable. And yes it is water proof I tested it to see. My new best friend! I used to spend so much money on very expensive mattresses – none of which ever made me as happy as purchasing a firm mattress and buying this 3 inch topper.
