Overall the chairs are nice. Sturdy, comfortable. Very aesthetically pleasing. However, it was hard putting the back onto the stool part because the screws are very very hard to get to with a rachet to tighten. There were also chips in the finish and some kind of hard white residue on the wood of the back of the chair that I had to scrape off of one of them. Assembly per chair took about 30-45 min. Luckily they were on sale. I would not have paid almost $400 per chair. The sale price of $100 is doable. As long as they last. stools arrived fast in two boxes with all parts easily labeled and instructions were simple. took me 30 minutes to put all 3 together. chairs are a little wobbly. two bolts in one chair didn’t line up correctly. stools do look great but i am concerned about long term longevity.. I thought these were beautiful albeit expensive. When I saw that they had several open box items which are final sale, no return, I reached out to inquire about probable defects. Reassured that they were thoroughly inspected, I pulled the trigger. Needless to say, I was very disappointed to have my items arrive with scratches and defects in the metal finish (factory defects) and the faux leather were of two different dye-lots. Additionally, one of the cushions is noticeably taller than the other.
