The 4-cup espresso and cappuccino machine uses a steam/boiler to quickly heat water until steam is produced. The steam creates pressure to force the water into the filter holder and through the coffee grounds to brew the espresso directly into the glass carafe. When the espresso has reached the bottom line marking on the glass carafe, you can stop the brewing and switch to frothing milk. When you finish frothing, turn the selector switch back to the coffee brewing position. The powerful steam/boiler reduces warm-up time to less than 2 minutes, producing 2 to 4 cappuccinos or lattes in less than 5 minutes.

The last cappuccino espresso I bought from Wayfair was much sturdier. It had some stainless steel in but the new one is smaller and almost all plastic. However, after just 2 uses, it seems to work ok so far.. Adele. Washington, PA. Fri May 29 2026

I love this machine! I had been wanting to get an espresso machine for about a year, but was going to hold out for one of the ones that's approx. $1,200! My sister told me I was nuts to consider spending that kind of money when there were great ones on the market for hundreds less & then she pulled up Kitchen Aid as an example and we looked at videos of it online too. So I decided to treat myself to machine as a Christmas 2023 gift! All I can say is "Oh my goodness, it's awesome!" I will not be spending another cent in Starbucks ever again! You produce a better tasting product with this baby and it's gorgeous on the countertop too. Now to take this to the next level, I'd recommend purchasing a 58mm bottomless portafilter (3 ear prong) & the puck (58mm) vs the KA portafilter. My choice felt it has more holes to properly extract the grinds and for me creates that perfect crema people kept mentioning that I was not able to produce before. You will not regret this add'l purchase, this addition will produce that coffee house quality beverage every single time! Oh and I did also purchase the KitchenAid Burr Coffee Grinder (again that was my preference) which I found works spectacular and looks divine on my countertop next to the espresso machine. I got this espresso machine on sale during the holidays, so the feeling of realizing you were snagging an amazing product but on sale made this decision a no brainerl My only regret is I wish I had gotten this sooner. I suggest getting the coffee beans and grinding yourself...I tried both in the beginning and found there was no comparison. I purchase the Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend (but did start out with Starbucks Espresso whole beans and liked it too). Plus the smell of after grinding your own beans is simply like nothing else. So no ground coffee...do it the right way! The silver frother mug KA sends...is just too small, it's only 8oz in size. I found a larger size was necessary, so I purchased a 20oz frothing mug and no longer worry about milk spilling out because 5 ozs of milk rises quite a bit at boiling point. Choose well, choose KitchenAid a tried and true brand.. Maranda. Suwanee, GA. Thu May 16 2024

Bring the art of espresso home with the De’Longhi La Specialista Arte Evo Espresso Machine with Cold Brew. Built for hands-on coffee lovers, this machine pairs precise grinding, controlled extraction, and powerful steaming with the convenience of fast cold brew. The built-in grinder offers 15 precise settings to help match grind size and dose for single or double espresso, giving you more control from the first step. A 15-bar Italian pump supports low-pressure pre-infusion and optimal 9-bar pressure during extraction, while Active Temperature Control lets you choose from 3 temperature settings to better match water infusion temperature to your beans. De’Longhi’s proprietary Cold Extraction Technology lets you enjoy cold brew in under 5 minutes, and 4 preset recipes—Espresso, Americano, Cold Brew, and Hot Water—make it easy to dial in everyday favorites. The commercial-style steam wand heats quickly and delivers the steam pressure needed to create consistently smooth microfoam for latte art. The included professional barista toolkit, dosing and tamping guide, and tamping mat help make espresso prep cleaner and easier. Detachable dishwasher-safe parts simplify cleanup, so your coffee ritual feels polished from start to finish.

I’ve owned a Breville espresso machine before, and I can honestly say this one feels much more hands-on and luxurious. From the materials to the buttons and overall design, it feels very high quality. As a former barista at Starbucks and local bakeries, I love being hands-on and having the ability to dial in my espresso exactly how I want it without it feeling like too much work. De’Longhi’s customer support has also been incredibly helpful—if you ever have an issue or are missing a piece that wasn’t included with your set, they’ll make it right at no additional cost. I think the price point makes perfect sense for the quality and overall experience, and I would definitely recommend this machine!. Anonymous. Tue Sep 15 2026

This is an absolutely incredible budget espresso machine that is astonishingly well priced. The espresso comes out great. I use a setting of 10 microns on my burr grinder with the dual filter and it works nicely. The machine didn’t like when I set it to 5 microns or less. Comes with a lovely portafilter.
