You won't regret buying this soft, plush area runner. The colors are exactly as shown. Bright and attractive. I bought a pad for underneath but honestly don't really need it. Though it has no non-slip backing on the carpet, it didn't move around on my vinyl planking. I added the pad and it made the rug even softer and plusher. When I received this red area rug to my surprise it was flecked with silver strands. I thought maybe I received the incorrect item. However, sure enough when I went back to review the item you can see them. I don’t know how I missed it because if I’d payed attention I would not have ordered this item. I was quite disappointed, but it’s not worth the hassle to return it. I was excited to purchase it as I was looking for a red area rug and really liked the shape. The color is bright, and while the padding is quite shallow, it’s fluffy. Minus the silver flecks it would be a beautiful addition to your decor. I would strongly suggest this fact be included in the product description.
