If your primary modern decor colors are gray, bright, white, and black and you want a dramatic and complementary color I would recommend this rug. I found after experimenting with different colored throws pillows and decor items that deep red and Merlot go beautifully with grays, bright white, and blacks. The only negative aspect of this rug was that it was folded tightly on one and instead of rolled hence, I had to turn the rug over and place weights on it and give it a few days to flatten out. I might not use this rug all year as deep redmerlot is more of a fall and winter decor color but for six months of the year, it will be beautiful. Vacuum to restore the pile; spot clean with mild detergent and water when necessary; do not bleach. It is a machine made in Turkey from 100% polypropylene with 0.39 pile height for lasting quality. This pile height allows it to fit under the door, making it an ideal rug for a bedroom or anywhere else. Suitable for indoors. This area rug would be a good fit for the living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen, hallway, and entryway. Vacuum on a high pile setting to remove debris taking care to avoid fraying the edges.
