We love our arbors. We purchased and liked it so much we had to get another for the other side of the yard. Fairly easy to assemble. Getting it leveled and secured in the ground is a 2 person job. Overall it seems well made and easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The one question about when the arbor could be painted was answered by the company very promptly. The only negative was that two of the 4" lag screws used to attach the top of the arbor to the sides sheared in half while being "manually" screwed in with a hex screw driver. Had to get replacement bolts to finish putting it together. Strongly suggest you get some extra hardware and return to the store if not needed. Very happy so far ( 2days) with the final product.. This arbor is exactly what I wanted for my native honeysuckle: solid wood, salt treated, not flimsy. Rounded edges, anchors included. I have very sandy soil where I put this arbor so I had to use extra anchors: 4 foot rebar pounded almost 3 feet in, and I think that'll do unless we get some serious weather. It took me several hours to put together just from having to drill the holes for the top bars and the anchors, if they had been pre-drilled this would be 5 stars.. Teresa. Middleburg, VA. Assembly wasnt as easy as i was hoping for and i had to stop building it since screw holes didnt quite aline ( other reviewers have mentioned it before) My husband had to take the drill out to make a new screwhole and it luckely remediated the situation.
