Absolutely gorgeous. I was very concerned on the day it was delivered because it was pouring rain. I just knew the frame would be damaged but I had absolutely nothing to worry about even though the box was literally sitting in water. As one would expect for mirror of this quality, it was packed in a very thick, wax coated box and every corner was protected with double fitted styrofoam. Even the glass was covered with a plastic film. As for the mirror, it is absolutely gorgeous! I knew it would be nice, but it’s even better than I imagined. I chose it to go in my bedroom but now I’m second-guessing that decision. At the moment, I don’t know where it’s going, but I do know I won’t be the one hanging it because I want to make sure it’s hung properly. I have a hallway in my home, on one side a wall and on the other a guest bathroom situated between two guest bedrooms I wanted to strategically place a large mirror on the wall across from the guest bath. This would solve two issues. One being light or the issue of not having much light as in natural light so by placing a large mirror on that wall will help illuminate the area, but I also wanted a large mirror placed where all guests were able to view themselves whether they were staying an extended period or just stopping by for a drink. This mirror heavy and was shipped and packaged well. When I received the product I must say i wasn't happy with the initial finish, but once I had applied an antique finish to the veneer, I am really happy with my purchase. I feel now with the antiquing applied it this mirror looks more luxe and is extremely comparable to a similar mirror being sold by Anthropologie and I should now for I also own one of those. I totally encouraged you to purchase this mirror especially if you can get it on sale. And if you feel it is too gold in certain areas then antique it!!
