I had to remove a star because the backing doesn't really prevent large pieces of glass or shards from coming off the mirror when it breaks, which is a benefit listed in the ad. I can say this with confidence after receiving 3 broken mirrors. Most of the time, the large pieces were still attached to the backing, but it one case, a large chunk of it did come off. Beautiful mirror — looks much more expensive than it is I’m extremely pleased with this mirror. We recently updated our guest bathroom with a new walnut vanity, white quartz countertop, white subway tile and matte black fixtures, and this mirror was the perfect finishing touch. The scalloped shape adds just enough interest to make the room feel custom without being overly trendy or ornate. The black frame is clean and substantial, and the mirror has a much more high-end appearance than I expected at this price point. I especially love that the shape provides some softness and contrast against all the straight lines of the vanity and subway tile.
