Beautiful high quality piece of furniture. The TV stand is hard wood (not MDF), very sturdy, and a lovely walnut color (as pictured online). Fits in perfectly with our decor. However, there was a major problem with the right side panel. The drill holes and recesses for the hinges were off by at least an inch. Thanks to my husband’s expert carpentry skills, he was able to create a workable solution. Otherwise, it would have required disassembling and waiting for a replacement side panel. This defect caused much frustration and interior “hacking” of an otherwise beautiful piece of furniture. Not happy with this major oversight on the part of the manufacturer. We got this on sale and it makes me wonder if Wayfair reserves defective furniture like this for their sale items, since most reviewers don’t mention defective pieces.. Carla E. Maryland. Ultimately, the piece is ok. The material is slightly more flimsy than I expected, but it looks nice enough all put together. It is also a little wobbly with no way to level it aside from placing cardboard under the feet. When assembling, I discovered that the pre-drilled holes on the bottom piece did not align with the rest of the cabinet. I ended up having to create new holes in order for the bottom piece to attach. Lastly, it says it's from the "George Oliver" collection, but that branding doesn't exist anywhere on the product.
