I like that it has different temperature settings (warm or bright) and it was easy to install and put together. The only meh thing is it can be difficult to catch the light just right with the remote signal to turn off or on. But it does work with the remote. Just takes a few tries. I ordered the battery operated wall sconces which arrived in a week. The sconces came with a remote, are rechargeable and wireless. There were different colors of the glass scones and your choice of a gold or silver base and arm. The instructions were easy to read and didnt take long to install with a Philip-head screw driver. There is switch to change the color the color of the bulb and on the other side is the changing plug. When you recharge the bulb, only 12 of the bulb comes out. We wanted to elevate the look in our dining area. These fluted wall sconces really did the trick! The space went from meh to marvelous. Installation was easy. Removing them from the bracket to charge is a simple task. Although each sconce came with it’s own remote and batteries, we are able to use one to operate both. If they are used often, I would suggest charging at night and replacing them on the wall the next morning. This will allow for longer use. I have been looking for just the right pieces to enhance the area over my mantel and these fit the bill. Installation entails using two screws to apply a plate which the lights fit over. It took around four hours to charge them initially; I can't speak to how well they hold a charge as we didn't really purchase them for extra light. Charging is as easy as charging your phone and they come with two charge cords. They do have dimmers and a remote. These are really nice sconces! They look high end, but are rechargeable so no hardwiring required! I did deduct a star because the shades arrived damaged.
