Wow! This is cute. I was scared because I had to cut my drywall to recess it into the wall. I found my studs, marked them, centered the shelf in-between. I had my daughter hold it up, i traced it with a pencil and cut it out with a drywall knife. It slid right in. I screwed it to the studs....so easy. The whole process took 20 minutes. I love it. This shelf insert is very nice. It’s heavy which makes it feel like quality. The white finish is flawless. The shelves are already built in so no assembly required, which is fantastic. There are zero seams on the faceframe of the unit, which really makes it feel like a high quality built-in product. There is a slight hairline crack on the inside backing, but it’s not super noticeable and I’m thinking once it’s installed and filled, it won’t even be noticeable.
